Childhood obesity affects math skills
A new study published in the journal Child Development and conducted by researchers at the University of Missouri shows that obese children see an overall lower math performance in school. Additionally, the study found that children struggling with obesity reportedly felt sadder, lonelier and more anxious than children of healthier weights.
