Olympian Natalie Coughlin praises plant-based diet

Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin says she consumes a “mostly vegetarian” diet. Though she admits she does occasionally eat meat in small doses, Couglin said her main focus is on plant-based foods like fruits and fresh veggies. She has seven vegetable beds at her home–one of which is dedicated entirely to the growth of kale.
