    I just purchased The China Study Cookbook. I love it, but I have a question. I’d like to make the Green Garden Mayo, because that is in several recipes. We have peanut/tree nut allergy in our house, so I can’t use the cashews, and am wondering what an alternative might be for that ingredient in the recipe?

      Hi Sandy,

      LeAnne recommended trying dry, roasted garbanzo beans or perhaps sunflower seeds. She hasn’t tried either ingredient in place of cashews for this recipe yet, but she thinks both would make a good substitution. Hope this helps!
